God of War was no doubt one of best games of 2018 and in recent history. The game was critically acclaimed by critics and fans for its narrative, character and quest design along with locations. One such location was Alfheim, home of the light elves. Alfheim is one the Nine Realms in Norse mythology and it appears in God of War as a beautiful world with spectacular views and glowing rivers.
To top off this year, I built a part of my personal favourite game of the year: #GodOfWar. Arriving in Alfheim for the first time was a breathtaking and magical moment, so I decided to recreate it in #LEGO. Thank you @corybarlog and @SonySantaMonica for this amazing game! pic.twitter.com/wKk4JOQoP4— Marius Herrmann (@SteppedOnABrick) December 30, 2018
Marius Herrmann who played God of War for the first time was so pleased with the beauty of Alfheim that he ended up recreating the realm with LEGO pieces. His Twitter post was retweeted more than 500 times and received over 2000 likes.
It even reached Santa Monica Studios along with Cory Barlog, Game Director of God of War who was really excited to see the realm recreated with LEGO.

I hope Marius is happy enough to continue this and do a LEGO piece for the world serpent next! Can you imagine how cool this would be if LEGO actually manufactured limited edition God of War pieces.
